The Conversation Is the Work
A new value loop is replacing the old one. You won't post to capture attention. You'll think — and let AI do the rest.
Insight
Imagine waking up, sitting with an idea, and thinking it through deeply. You open a conversation with AI. Together you explore it, stress-test it, push it further than you could alone. By the end of that conversation, the idea has become something real — an app, a product, a piece of content, a system. AI built it. And because it solves a genuine problem, the platform it lives on begins surfacing it automatically to the people who need it. They find it, use it, pay for it. You capture the value — without a marketing team, without an ad budget, without dancing in front of a camera.
That is where this is going. Conversation as the input. Value as the output. Everything in between — building, distributing, matching, transacting — handled by AI.
The reason this isn't science fiction is that it's already happening in early form. Right now, when you sit down with AI, you learn, explore, build, and create inside the same interface. Work, learning, creation, and consumption have already collapsed into one conversation. What you used to do across a dozen tools, teams, and months now happens in a single session.
The gap between now and the full vision is just automation. Today you still stitch the pieces together manually — you tell AI what to build, you separately create the content, you manage your own distribution. The loop exists. It just isn't closed yet.
The influencer economy rewarded those who could capture attention. The AI economy will reward those who can produce genuine value — and the platform will handle the rest.
Deep Dive: What My Day Actually Looks Like
I don't open email to process requests. I don't sit in meetings to align teams. I open a conversation.
I think out loud into it. I push an idea until it becomes clear. I challenge it, rebuild it, direct it — and by end of day, things exist that didn't exist that morning. Software. Content. Systems. Often I was the only human involved.
The work is the thinking. The conversation is the labor. The output is handled.
This loop repeats at every scale — for a single article, for a product, for a company.

Where This Is Going
Right now, you still stitch the pieces together yourself. But the direction is clear.
Platforms like Poe, Lovable, and others are already moving toward a model where you build inside the platform, publish inside the platform, and get discovered inside the platform. The creator economy ran on YouTube and Instagram as the distribution layer. The AI economy will run on platforms where the creation, hosting, discovery, and transaction all happen in one place.
You have a conversation. The platform builds it, hosts it, surfaces it to the right person, and pays you when they use it. The loop closes automatically.
The constraint in this world is not execution — AI handles that. It is not distribution — the platform handles that. The only constraint that remains, the only thing that determines the quality of everything that comes out the other side, is the depth and clarity of what you bring into the conversation.
That is the new scarce resource. And the next article is about why the people who develop it now have a window that won't stay open forever.
